If you are experiencing any symptoms prior to your holiday you MUST NOT travel. If you experience any symptoms whilst on holiday, please inform us immediately and return to your own home to self-isolate. If, for some reason, it is impossible to return home, Visit Cornwall and PASCuk have been informed by the Government that you have to pay for all affected bookings and the cost of your on-going stay.
If you want to carry out any activity whilst staying with us, use the "Beyonk" link on Visit Cornwall’s site and it will show places that are open and which allow you to pre-book. This is highly recommended as spaces are limited over the summer months and for social distancing. If you can, it's a good idea to book your favourite pub or restaurant before you travel.
Your property will have been cleaned on the day of your arrival. Our cleaners are required to confirm they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 during the week before they visit and again on arrival on Saturday morning. Cleaning the properties and making everything ready for your arrival takes time so please make sure you are ready to check out by 10am and don't plan to arrive until 4pm at the earliest. When you arrive, please call at the black door of our bungalow where you can collect your sanitised keys.
All linens are commercially laundered and washed at 60 degrees or above. Our fresh linens are returned to us in clean linen bags and stored in a linen store to ensure items are not mixed with unwashed items. On departure day, we ask that you strip your beds and place sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers in the black bags we have placed in the wardrobes. These bags should be left inside your property when you leave to be collected by our laundry company.
We have a Laundry Room available for guests' use and have provided hand sanitiser and anti-viral spray. Please use these if you use the room and any of its facilities, including the washing machine, dryer, chest freezer, books and games. There's a huge range of tourist leaflets in the Laundry Room, which is regularly re-stocked. If you use any of them, please take them home with you or dispose of them carefully, rather than leaving them for other guests.
If you are not comfortable with the shared laundry arrangement, the nearest commercial laundry is Old Station Laundry in Bodmin PL31 2NR Tel 01208 73772.
Should it be necessary for a tradesman to visit your property during your stay, we will try to arrange it while you are out. If that is not possible, we may ask you to sit outside, in your car or in the room furthest away from the tradesman to minimise contact and will spray hard surfaces with antiviral spray afterwards.
We recommend that you keep the property ventilated as much as possible during your stay, but please switch off the heating if the windows are open. We will have all windows open, where possible, on a Saturday for your arrival.
At the end of your holiday, please remove all your rubbish, in bags, and place it in the metal General Waste bin near the poly tunnels and don't leave any unwanted food.
We are sure you can understand that the enhanced cleaning required is time consuming and we want to ensure the properties are ready for guest arrival, so if we have to spend additional time cleaning, because guests have not left properties clean and tidy, we reserve the right to charge further monies for cleaning in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
What we are doing & what we ask of you so that we all stay safe.
